DYNAMIC SCREENING FOR EXTREME MATERIALS
There is nothing passive about the VIBRA-SNAP® Screen. With the aid of tuned and controlled resonance, a single centrifugal drive system provides the excitation force for alternate and opposed movements of flexible screen sections. The powerful snapping of screen sections generates active “flip-flow” material movement accelerating, liberating, and dispersing particles sufficiently to allow smaller particles the opportunity to reach the screen surface and pass through freely. The combination of high acceleration (up to 50 g’s) and continuous screen flexing (breathing) helps prevent blinding, clogging, caking, pegging, and agglomeration resulting in high capacity screening.
Benefits & Features
- HIGHER AMPLITUDES & KINETIC ENERGY The combination of low frequency and long amplitudes (strokes) has proven successful for efficient screening of difficult materials. High frequency and short amplitudes can be counterproductive for many screening applications. At a given acceleration, the VIBRA-SNAP® Screen generates higher kinetic energy and unparalleled material liberation which ultimately leads to higher screening efficiency.
- DRY SCREENING Dry screening with the VIBRA-SNAP® Screen can eliminate expensive and complicated wet screening process equipment for processing materials such as sand.
- ENGINEERED SIMPLICITY & EFFICIENCY
- DYNAMIC BALANCING Each VIBRA-SNAP® Screen is dynamically balanced and isolated to minimize the transfer of dynamic loads to foundations or supporting structures. ACTION’s balancer is mechanically sound with proper constraint in all planes (lateral, horizontal, and vertical) providing consistent longitudinal and vertical strokes. Consistent strokes maximize screening efficiency and component life.
- DIRECT EXCITATION Only screen mats and materials are subjected to high g-forces. The VIBRA-SNAP® Screen frame does not experience high stress and wear forces common to heavy body traditional screeners.
- QUALITY & DURABILITY You can expect years of reliable service in the toughest environments from every VIBRA-SNAP® Screen manufactured to exacting tolerances in ACTION’s tradition of craftsmanship.

Flexible Screen Sections

The VIBRA-SNAP® Screen mat configuration is based on a mathematical formula that provides a “corner-less” geometrically optimized profile with significant performance advantages:
- 250% BETTER ACTION’s screen mat profile reduces “unit deformation” at the side curvature, uniformly distributing stress over a larger area. Fatigue life of VIBRA-SNAP® Screen mats is exceptional. Designs with sharp angled side sections, vertical sides, or abrupt corners exhibit buckling, creasing, and up to 250% more strain.
- COMPLETE SIDE SEALING Flexible screen mats provide side sealing without abrupt corners, edge wear and material wedging. ACTION’s unique screen mat design redirects material away from the screen mat edge & seal.
- DURABLE & RESILIENT Each unitary screen mat is constructed from an elastomer with a balanced range of unique properties fully capable of withstanding continuous articulation with no loss of elasticity or dimensional accuracy.
- GREATER SIDE CURVATURE MOVEMENT ACTION’s screen mats are “active at the edges” with a larger side curvature profile for greater range of movement. Materials contacting the side curvature are inherently thinned-out and laterally accelerated to reduce blinding for highly effective consistent screening.
- PRECISE SIZING Screen mats with maximized open area and aperture widths starting at .2mm (.008") are available to suit the application. Scalping and multiple sizing operations can also be incorporated.
Common Product Applications
The secret to gaining a competitive edge in today’s marketplace can be achieved by selecting a vibrating screen suitable for the application. The VIBRA-SNAP® Screen is an effective alternative to rigid screening systems and is ideally suited for screening moist, sticky, fibrous, wet bulk materials with a high percentage of fines or near size particles for the following materials/applications:
