VIBRATORY FEEDERS
The success of any material handling system can be measured in direct proportion to how well the flow of material is controlled. The ability to consistently control and sustain material flow from bulk storage or from one process to another to achieve maximum efficiency is accomplished with vibratory feeders.
RELIABLY Store, Move & Meter

Action natural frequency or brute force feeders are performance engineered to provide efficient, dependable, and accurate feeding of bulk materials from storage piles, hoppers, bins, silos, crushers, etc. Custom designed and innately efficient, Action's feeders continuously handle high capacities with minimum stress resulting in low cost operation and long service life. Action's foundry-grade mechanical feeders utilize the proven principles of precise, sub-resonant tuning and do not dampen under load. Feeder troughs may be constructed from a wide variety of materials with foot mounted or suspension isolation and drive mounting above or below the trough.
Variable Force Control (VFC)
The Action VFC provides a means for modulating feed rate by adjusting the drive exciting force while the motor continues to operate. Air pressure is utilized to accurately position a movable motor eccentric weight which effectively controls centrifugal force and pan amplitude. Feeders with the optional VFC do not require electronic frequency controllers.

Hopper Design
Feeder hopper design, if required, is at least as important as the feeder design itself. Improperly designed hoppers can substantially reduce feeder capacities. Material characteristics define hopper configurations and the adjustable hopper slide gate opening. Action's vibratory engineers are available to recommend a hopper design ideally suited to properly mate with any given feeder.
Screening & Scalping
In addition to design features such as wear liners and hoods for dust containment, feeders can be equipped with an assortment of screen media such as:
- TAPER-SLOT® Screen with patented lateral wedge members
- Adjustable grizzly scalping sections
- Perforated plate, wire mesh, rod screens, and finger screens
- Profile wedge wire for fine screening and de-watering
- Polyurethane and rubber screen decks for high wear applications
